Gegeben ist eine Betriebsspannung von

U_\mathrm{CC} = \qty{13,5}{\volt}

Der optimale Arbeitspunkt des MMIC liegt bei

U_D = \qty{4}{\volt} und I_D = \qty{10}{\milli\ampere}

Am Widerstand R_\text{BIAS} muss daher die restliche Spannung abfallen:

U_{R_\text{BIAS}} = U_\mathrm{CC} - U_D

U_{R_\text{BIAS}} = \qty{13,5}{\volt} - \qty{4}{\volt} = \qty{9,5}{\volt}

Mit dem Ohmschen Gesetz ergibt sich:

R_\text{BIAS} = \frac{U_{R_\text{BIAS}}}{I_D} = \frac{\qty{9,5}{\volt}}{\qty{10}{\milli\ampere}} = \qty{950}{\ohm}
